Archival Scans and Restorations

We do color corrections and digital repairs of many public domain materials, from maps to children’s books. If you have a project you’d like us to work on in this vein, please let us know.

Web Development

We used to build sites from start to finish: Graphic design, code, layout, and more. PHP/MySQL and content management systems including Drupal, Joomla, and WordPress. We no longer provide that service as Wetdryvac.net, though we do provide technical expertise, documentation, and similar on rare occasions.

Some of our better known clients include Wasted In Bombay, Roxanne Modafferi, and Pittsburgh Pain Physicians. The Vac has a particular interest in fitness and martial arts sites, as well as in the medical industry.

Web Comics

Climate Control: Ongoing, four books completed. Crass on occasion, with a range from grimdark to hope punk Three panel vertical stack pages, mostly using original watercolor and mixed media inversions. A perpetual favorite.

Bang Fortune (Thinkbag): Complete. Vector splash comics, built from public domain images with proper citation. Single panel, crass on occasion.

Patent Absurdities: Complete. Tighter vector rebuilds based on patent images, ranging from crass to outright bizarre.

Never Ready Never Alone: Complete: Experimental comic based off an 1800s book on butterflies and moths, built by hand coded automation in Photoshop, from layout to word placement.

Patent Absurdities 2 Research Subjects: Ongoing. Built on well-cited patent images with an emphasis on things that probably shouldn’t go together, or should, but not like that. Of the lot, this gets the crassest, and the text elements are from work the Vac did in the early 1990s, reflecting – quite badly in places – the time.
